The Path. Distractions are plentiful as LSU Football heads into an early, but consequential matchup with South Carolina on the road. A Category 2 Hurricane, a College Gameday showdown, and an 11 a.m. kickoff forced the Tigers to narrow their focus all week long.

🔼  Iced Down. Keep your drinks cold with the brand new, exclusive LSU-branded YETI Rambler Tumblers! They’ll be available only at select LSU Athletic venues. They’ll be released throughout the year with new logos. The tumblers will be available at the UCLA game on Saturday at 18 concession stands.

🔼  Mason For The Mackey. LSU tight end Mason Taylor was named the John Mackey Award Player of the Week! He became LSU’s all-time leader for receptions by a tight end in Saturday’s win at South Carolina. He completed six receptions and 58 receiving yards.

🔼 Tourney Time. LSU volleyball will host three teams to close out non-conference play today and tomorrow. They’ll play Boston College tonight at 6 p.m. On Friday, they’ll play a doubleheader with a 10 a.m. match against North Florida and a 7 p.m. nightcap against San Diego. All three matches will stream on SEC Network+.

🔼 It Just Means More. The soccer team will begin SEC play tonight on the road at No. 3 Arkansas. First kick is at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Tigers have had success on the road with four wins and just one loss, which came at UC Davis on Sunday.

🔼 Hall Of Famers. Three Tigers are set to be inducted into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in the 2025 class. West Monroe, LSU, and NFL standout Andrew Whitworth won three Louisiana state titles, a national championship, and a Super Bowl. LSU gymnastics 14-time All-American and NCAA champion April Burkholder joins him in the 2025 class. George “Bobby” Soileau, who won four high school state boxing titles, plus an NCAA title at LSU in 1956, also joins the class.
