📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Best In Class. The LSU gymnastics squad posted the highest score in the country on Friday night as they defeated No. 6 Kentucky in the PMAC. The Tigers posted a 198.125 score, the highest from any SEC team so far this year. It was Coach Jay Clark’s 50th win since coaching LSU. The Tigers earned a season-high 49.525 on vault and Haleigh Bryant took the title with a 9.975 score. LSU posted a season-high 49.425 score on beam in the final rotation. Haleigh Bryant and Kiya Johnson scored perfect 10’s on bars and floor, respectfully.

🔼 Domination Station. The 10th-ranked women’s basketball team dominated Arkansas, 99-68. Mikaylah Williams led the team with 21 points plus nine rebounds. Hailey Van Lith scored 20 points with six assists and a season-high five rebounds. Angel Reese recorded her 11th double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds. They’ll be back in action on Thursday when they host College Gameday and No. 1 South Carolina at 7 pm.

🔼  Record Breaker. The track & field team team took their first road trip of the season at the Corky Classic, hosted by Texas Tech. Michaela Rose set the collegiate record in the 600-yard race, running a time of 1:16.76 in the first heat. She now owns two of the top three 600-yard times in collegiate history. Alia Armstrong set a nation-leading time of 7.90 seconds in the 60-meter hurdle final. Myles Thomas and Morgan Smalls took wins in the men’s 60-meter and long jump.
