🔼 That Kid Jayden. LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels left no doubt that he’s the best player in college football. Saturday night was full of National Champions who just earned their championship rings and stars like Shaq and Chevy Chase, but Jayden Daniels was the true star of the show. He rewrote the record books — becoming the first player in FBS history to record 350+ passing yards and 200+ rushing yards in a single game, setting the SEC single game record for total offense, and becoming the first player in college football history to pass for 12,000+ career yards and rush for 3,000+. His play earned him the SEC Offensive Player of the Week this week! He is truly elite.

🔼 In The Trenches. The conference announced LSU’s Charles Turner as the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week! He allowed zero sacks and was a key blocker for an LSU offense that racked up 701 total yards. The Tigers surpassed 200 rushing yards for the sixth-straight game. This is his third SEC Offensive Player of the Week honor this season, the others being against Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Missouri.

🔼 Breakfast With The Tigers. The women’s basketball team is back in action this morning at home as they host Kent State. It’s the annual field trip game, so expect about 8,000 local elementary kids, ready to make some noise in the PMAC! Over 60 schools from the Baton Rouge area will be there. Tip is at 11am on SEC Network+. The Tigers will go into the game ranked No. 7.

🔼  Ring Me. The 2023 LSU National Championship baseball team received their rings on Saturday! They had a celebration in the PMAC and they were honored on the field during the football game. Relive the day!

The current team went on to play UL-Lafayette in an 18-inning exhibition game on Sunday, with some familiar faces in the crowd. The Tigers won, 14-3. Pitchers Gage Jump, Thatcher Hurd, Luke Holman, and Cam Johnson were dominant in the first eight innings, producing 14 strikeouts and allowing just one hit. Cam struck out all six batters he faced. The fall practice period will end this weekend, as they close it out with the Purple-Gold World Series on Friday through Sunday. Admission is free.
