For LSU Gymnastics, the path to a national championship runs through Fayetteville, where they face their fiercest competition yet. Fueled by a blend of joy and intensity, the team rallies for one last triumphant effort before advancing to the National Semi-finals.

🔼  Beware Of The Bear. LSU baseball’s Jared Jones came up big for the Tigers in last night’s win over Northwestern State! He hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth to lift the Tigers up to a 6-5 win. Gavin Guidry earned the win, pitching four innings of relief and allowing zero runs while striking out seven. Josh Pearson scored two runs in the win, while Jared Jones and Brady Neal recorded two RBI.

🔼 Tourney Time. LSU softball starts their run in the SEC Tournament today! The Tigers own the No. 8 seed and will play No. 9 seeded Alabama today at 10 am. The Tigers and the Tide have not yet met this season. Alabama sits 33-16 overall and 10-14 in conference play. This year’s tournament is being played at Auburn and fans can tune in on the SEC Network.

🏆 Going into the tournament, Tiger outfielder Ali Newland was named to the 2024 SEC Softball Community Service Team. This is her third-straight year making the team.

🔼 Finish Strong. The women’s golf team finished the second round of the NCAA Bryan Regional tied for third-place at 3-under par. Ingrid Lindblad fired her second-straight 68 and sits at the top of the individual leaderboard. Latanna Stone is tied for seventh. The Tigers will begin the final round today at 8 am.

🔼 Hometown Hero. LSU women’s basketball has agreed to play Grambling State in Bossier City on December 8. This will be a homecoming for LSU’s Mikaylah Williams, who grew up there. She led Parkway High School to a state title and was named Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year twice. Tickets to the game will go on sale later this summer.
