Lagniappe. The LSU football team has been hard at work this spring, preparing for this weekend’s National L Club Spring Football Game! Go inside another week of spring practices now on LSU GOLD.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Boot Battle. Baseball is back at The Box tonight as the Tigers host McNeese. LSU is looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses to No. 6 Vanderbilt over the weekend. The Cowboys head coach Justin Hill makes another appearance in Baton Rouge, he was a pitcher for the Tigers in 2001 and 2002. His team sits 16-14 overall and dropped two of three at Lamar last weekend. The game will start at 6:30 pm on SEC Network+.

🔼 Top-5 Finish. The men’s golf team picked up another top-5 finish at The Aggie Invitational, finishing in fourth-place. Lance Yates finished tied for ninth individually, his best finish of his career! He shot 2-under in the final round and made 40 pars in 54 holes throughout the weekend. Drew Doyle was close behind him, finishing tied for 12th. The Tigers finished at 6-over 294 as a team.

🔼 Ali Nears The Cycle. LSU and Florida softball had another extra innings finish last night, but this time the Gators won 6-5. Ali Newland was just a triple shy of the cycle, matching her career-high with three hits including a go-ahead home run. McKenzie Redoutey also tied her career-best with three hits of her own. Ciara Briggs led the Tigers with two RBIs and extended her hitting streak to 11 games. LSU will be back at home on Wednesday when they host Southeastern Louisiana.
