🐯 And much, much more!
Break It Down. Joe Healy of D1Baseball joins Cody Worsham to break down the NCAA Tournament bracket and the Baton Rouge Regional. This is the perfect way to prepare and keep you busy as we wait for Friday to roll around. Check it out now!
🔼 Syd Brrr. LSU softball pitcher Sydney Berzon had that X factor all year, and the recognition is coming in. She was just named to the D1Softball Freshman All-American Team! Sydney had an incredible 1.91 ERA and led the team with 127 strikeouts. She also racked up 14 wins for the Tigers and started 17 games. She has also been named to the NFCA South All-Region Team and Second Team All-SEC.
🔼 Golden Hour. Don’t miss out on the 2023 Golden Cleats Combine presented by Our Lady of the Lake Health on Tuesday, June 6. This event is for women only and hosted by Coach Brian Kelly, Paqui Kelly, and the LSU football staff. Join from 4-6pm for a taste of Baton Rouge and shopping and then stick around from 6-9:30pm for on-field drills with players and coaches. Find out more information here!
🔼 Books & Beach. Two Sandy Tigs were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team! Melia Lindner and Ellie Shank out-did themselves in the classroom and on the court. This means that they had at least a 3.50 GPA and participated in at least 50% of the team’s games. They’ll now be eligible to make the Academic All-America Team.
🔼 Rise Up. The newest USTFCCCA Outdoor Rankings are out and the men’s team is on the rise. They jumped up two spots to No. 5 and the women’s team stayed at No. 7 for the third week in a row. The Tigers have 11 marks in the top 10 of this weeks national rankings.
Bayou Traditions raises funds to provide Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) opportunities to LSU student-athletes—making NIL deals more accessible and sustainable and allowing student-athletes to gain finance and business experience without compromising their focus on studies and sports.
NIL is a competitive space and now influences where an athlete attends college. We need the Tiger community to join us and keep LSU at the forefront of NIL!
Do you know why numbers are painted every 5 yards on the field at Tiger Stadium?

Wednesday 5/31
No scheduled events.
Answer: Play-by-play announcer John Ferguson requested this to happen in 1946 because it was easier to see the spot and call the action.
Have a great Wednesday, y'all.
