🔼  Building Momentum. LSU baseball upset No. 1-ranked Texas A&M by taking the series at The Box! This is the third-straight SEC series win for the Tigers. They went down Friday night, but a four-run sixth inning led the Tigers to a 6-4 win. Fidel Ulloa earned his first LSU win and Griffin Herring earned his fourth save of the year. The fun continued on Saturday as LSU won with the same 6-4 score. Christian Little was dominant in relief, throwing 3.2 innings with six strikeouts. Tommy White and Jared Jones hit back-to-back home runs in the win. The Aggies bounced back on Sunday, winning 14-4. The Tigers finished the weekend winning nine of their last 12 games.

🔼 Title after game. The 10th-ranked softball team took the series over Liberty, 2-1, in their last regular season series! Sydney Berzon threw her third complete-game shutout of the season on Friday as the Tigers won 4-0. Saturday marked their 16th game of the season with 10 or more hits as LSU won 9-4. Raeleen Gutierrez led the Tigers with a 3-for-4 showing at the plate, plus two RBI. Karli Petty and Taylor Pleasants hit home runs in the win. Liberty came back on Sunday to get a 3-1 win. The Tigers finish the regular season with a 38-14 record and hold the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament this week. They’ll face 9-seeded Alabama tomorrow at 10 am.

🔼 Tough Tigs. The beach volleyball team made it to the Final Four of the NCAA Beach Championship as the No. 11 seed. It was the longest run an 11 seed had ever made. They defeated No. 6 TCU and No. 3 Stanford in the largest upset in NCAA Beach Tournament history. They fell to No. 2 UCLA in the Final Four matchup. Reilly Allred and Parker Bracken landed on the NCAA All-Tournament Team after going a perfect 3-0 on Court 2. The Sandy Tigs finished the season with a 27-12 record.

🔼 Went For Two. The women’s tennis team defeated Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, 4-3. Gaby Rivera completed a comeback win to clinch the victory for the Tigers. It was the first NCAA Tournament win for the team since 2021, and the first of Coach Taylor Fogleman’s reign. They advanced to the second round where they fell to the home team, No. 2 Stanford.
