🔼  Home For Seven. The 2024 LSU football schedule came out this week and we’ll see seven games in Tiger Stadium for it’s 100-year celebration! With the addition of two new SEC schools, the schedule looks a little different than usual. The Tigers will have two open dates, one on October 5 and the other on November 2. They’ll close the season at home on November 30, hosting Oklahoma. Other conference games in Tiger Stadium include Ole Miss, Alabama, and Vanderbilt. The season will open with a trip to Las Vegas to play USC on September 1.

🔼 More Awards For Five. The honors just don’t stop for Jayden Daniels. Yesterday, he was named the Sporting News Player of the Year! He was also named an AFCA All-American alongside Malik Nabers. Jayden has joined Joe Burrow as the most decorated athletes in LSU history.

🔼  Breakfast With The Tigers. The men’s basketball team will be playing in the Halal Guys Showcase at the Toyota Center in Houston tomorrow at 11 am. They’ll play the 19th-ranked Texas Longhorns. If you’re making the trip, you can purchase tickets here! If not, you can tune in on ESPN2 or the LSU Sports Radio Network

🔼 Tiger Excellence. LSU recorded a 91% in the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rate report. There were 12 Tiger teams that scored a perfect 100, ranking No. 2 among all SEC schools. The two 2023 National Championship teams had a perfect score. LSU is one of four SEC schools to score an 89 or higher each of the last seven years. The Final Four gymnastics squad also had a 100 score — along with volleyball, beach volleyball, track and field, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, and tennis.

🔼 Get In The Spirit. The women’s basketball team will take part in Christmas Clubhouse at the Healing Place Church Dream Center at 5:30 pm this evening! They’ll be serving underprivileged youth in North Baton Rouge. Christmas Clubhouse will feature a snow maze, gingerbread slide, gingerbread man inflatable, horse and carriage rides, and free haircuts for underserved youth. The team hopes to use their platform positively to influence the young folks that the Dream Center serves. The event is open for members of the public and media to attend.

They’ll be back in the PMAC on Sunday as they host Northwestern State at 2 pm.
