🔼 Who Run The World? LSU has set the standard for female athletes capitalizing on NIL deals. LSU’s Angel Reese and Olivia Dunne are stars of Sports Illustrated’s “The Money Issue.” On3 ranks Livvy as the No. 3 earner in the country, Angel sits at 8th, and teammate Flau’jae Johnson at 19th. They make LSU one of two schools with three athletes in the top 25. Livvy recently started the Livvy Fund through Bayou Traditions, a program that connects other LSU female athletes with brands to up their NIL game. The girls are certainly taking the college athletics world by storm, you can read more about their impact on Sports Illustrated.

🔼 Making Waves. On top of being a Sports Illustrated star, Angel Reese was also named to the TIME100 Next list as an innovator, nominated by WNBA star Candace Parker. She joins the list alongside stars such as Kelsea Ballerini, Ronald Acuña Jr., and Jalen Hurts. She’ll be featured in the upcoming edition of TIME, releasing this Friday.

🔼 Bring ‘Em Home. Two LSU golfers brought home SEC weekly awards, let’s see who they are!

🏆 Ingrid Lindblad was rightfully named the SEC Golfer of the Week. She earned her 12th collegiate victory over the weekend at the Cougar Classic. In the second round, she scored 64 which marked the fifth time she has tied the school record for the lowest single round. She remains the No. 1 World Amateur Golfer for the 15th consecutive week.

🏆 Jay Mendell secured the SEC Freshman of the Week award. He placed inside the top 25 in his first two events as a collegiate golfer and combined for a 72.17 stroke average. The Tigers will be back on the course Sept. 25 for the SEC Match Play.
