Uncut. It’s official, we have the best fans in baseball! Alex Box Stadium was the nations leader in attendance in 2023. Let’s go back to the Super Regionals Game 2 when the Tigers punched their ticket to Omaha. You’ll also find Dylan Crews’ last at bat in Baton Rouge.

🔼 The Show. The ESPY Awards turned into the LSU show last night, starting from the jump. Lil Wayne opened up the ESPYs wearing a women’s basketball National Championship hat with a piece of the net from the big night while shouting out Angel Reese. It continued when LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne announced an award. Former Tiger Justin Jefferson won the Best Play of the Year Award for his one-handed catch against the Buffalo Bills. The Tigers wrapped things up with Angel Reese winning Best Breakthrough Athlete.
🔼 Double Trouble. Two Tigers are wearing red, white, and blue this week at the WBSC World Cup in Dublin, Ireland. Former LSU softball teammates Sahvanna Jaquish and Aliyah Andrews have been back-to-back on the lineup for Team USA. Aliyah already has two triples in two games for the stars and stripes. Sahvanna scored three runs in the team’s win over Botswana. The two play professionally now, Aliyah in the Athletes Unlimited league and Sahvanna with the Texas Smoke in the WPF league.
🔼 Viva Las Vegas. Who doesn’t want to take a trip to Las Vegas to watch the National Champions? Tickets are now on sale for the women’s basketball Las Vegas Premiere. The Tigers will play Colorado at T-Mobile Arena on November 6 in the Naismith Hall of Fame Series. This will be the fifth meeting between Colorado and LSU and the first since 2004.
🔼 Keep ‘Em Guessing. The SEC had some praise for Anita Anwusi and Sanaa Dotson, they were named to the Preseason All-SEC Volleyball Team. The Tigers were picked to finish sixth in the SEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The season starts August 25 against UCLA at the PMAC.
Sanaa Dotson was named to the 2022 AVCA South All-Region Team after she led LSU with 3.66 kills per set and 25 aces. She also recorded nine double-doubles in 2022.
Anita Anwusi was a 2022 AVCA South All-Region Honorable Mention and led the team with 1.14 blocks per set. She has 524 career kills and 346 career total blocks.
The MLB Draft is officially over and LSU went record breaking.
