The Powerhouse. Postseason magic lived in Alex Box Stadium this season. This episode of The Powerhouse goes into everything it took to keep the stadium running through the postseason and the celebration as the Tigers punched their ticket to Omaha.

🔼 Draft Dive. The MLB Draft continued yesterday, which means more Tigers are going to The Show.
⚾️ Garrett Edwards was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 11th round, where he will join LSU teammate Tre’ Morgan. He had a 4-0 record for the Tigers this season and held a 1.93 ERA.
⚾️ Blake Money heard his name called by the Baltimore Orioles in the 12th round. He came up big in the post season where he left Kentucky scoreless. He also fired three perfect innings in his start against UCA.
⚾️ Brayden Bombs can continue in the big leagues! Brayden Jobert was drafted in the 12th round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He was clutch in the College World Series where he hit three doubles, one triple, three homers, seven RBIs, and scored six runs.
⚾️ Blake Money won’t be lonely in Baltimore, bullpen buddy Riley Cooper was drafted to the Orioles in the 13th round! Riley was huge in the College World Series, where he picked up three saves and recorded a 0.93 ERA in 92 innings.
⚾️ Jordan Thompson heard his name called next. The shortstop was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 15th round. He became the 11th Tiger drafted, breaking the school record. He hit a career 25 home runs, 30 doubles, and scored 136 runs in his career.
⚾️ JT wasn’t the only one, in the 16th round the Dodgers selected Javen Coleman. He got the rock in the win over Wake Forest in the College World Series. He was awarded the win over Alabama this season in his third appearance after Tommy John surgery.
⚾️ Christian Little was drafted by the New York Mets in the 19th round of the MLB Draft. He pitched in five of the 12 shutouts the Tigers produced this season.
🔼 Dynamic Duo. The dynamic duo of Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth remains dominant as they represent Team USA on the Beach Pro Tour. They picked up a bronze medal at the Beach Pro Tour Elite16 event in Spain and they’ll play next at the Challenge event tomorrow. They currently rank as the No. 3 pair in the Women’s Beach Volleyball Olympic Ranking. The duo went 36-0 for LSU in 2021 and won every Pair of the Year award you could imagine.
🔼 Tee Time. We have some big updates from members of the LSU women’s golf team on this Wednesday morning.
⛳️ Rising sophomore Taylor Riley found herself advancing to the U.S. Women’s Amateur after shooting 2-under 71 in a qualifier. Taylor earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors in the fall after finishing 10-under par and tying for third at the Green Wave Fall Tournament.
⛳️ Ingrid Lindblad is playing for her country of Sweden in the European Ladies Team Championship this week. Her team is in first-place after Tuesday’s round with 20-under par. Ingrid shot 67 in the round, 4-under par of 71. She was also just named to the WGCA All-America Scholar Team!
⛳️ Carla Tejedo is playing in the same tournament as Ingrid, representing Spain. Her country is in third-place after the first round of stroke play. Carla had a great round, shooting 69 with seven birdies.
