📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Mike Will Made It. The men’s basketball team got another win last night as they defeated Alabama State, 74-56. The Tigers went on a 19-3 run in a seven-minute period of the second half to get a good lead. Mike Williams III led the team with 15 points with three three-balls and three assists. Jalen Reed and Jordan Wright had 13 points each. On a night that the Wayde Sims Foundation was honored on what would’ve been Wayde Sims 26th birthday, the Tigers put up 44 points in the second half — the jersey number that Wayde and his late father Wayne wore at LSU.

🔼 That’s Our Rook. Women’s basketball freshman Mikaylah Williams was named the 2023 USA Basketball 3×3 Female Athlete of the Year! This is the second year in-a-row she has received the honor. She led the USA U18 3×3 team to a 7-0 record and a gold medal at the FIBA World Cup, earning her third-straight tournament MVP award.

Answer: Twice

The Tigers shut out McNeese in the second quarter on Tuesday night. The only other time that has happened was in 2018 when they shut out Florida State in the second quarter.
