🔼 Golden Boy. That Kid Jayden has been named the 2023 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner! He got a nice phone call from the son of the legendary Baltimore Colts quarterback to find out the news. The award is given to the nation’s top quarterback who best exemplifies character, scholastic, and athletic achievement. You can watch the livestream of the Golden Arm Award presentation on their YouTube channel on December 7.

🔼  The 700 Club. The women’s basketball team didn’t let No. 9 Virginia Tech get to them, they rolled over the Hokies 82-65. Coach Mulkey earned her 700th win as a head coach, faster than any men’s or women’s coach in history. Angel Reese was electric in her first game back, scoring 19 and grabbing 9 boards. She earned her 1,000th career-rebound. The freshman phenom Mikaylah Williams was on fire with 20 points. Everybody’s Player of the Week Aneesah Morrow recorded another double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. The PMAC was rockin’ and it’s safe to say the Tigers are happy, happy, happy.

🔼 Friday Fever. The men’s basketball team is back at home tonight as they host Southeastern. They’re looking to get back in the win column after dropping their ACC/SEC Challenge at Syracuse. Fans coming out to the PMAC can get a discounted ticket when they bring a non-perishable food item or canned good to support the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Students are admitted free with a student ID. Tip off is at 7pm on SEC Network+ and the LSU Sports Radio Network.
