🔼 Put A Ring On It. The women’s basketball team is hosting their home opener tonight against Queens (N.C.) at 7pm. You’ll want to arrive early though! The 2022-23 team will receive their National Championship rings at 6:20pm and the National Championship banner will be raised after. If you can’t make it out, the game will be on SEC Network+ and the LSU Sports Radio Network.

Coach Mulkey & Co. got a win yesterday when they signed the top prospect in Louisiana, Jada Richard. She’s a four-star guard out of Lafayette Christian Academy and has a winning mentality, she’s won three-straight state championships.

🔼  Wizard Of Gaus. Former Tiger and current Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman was named a Cy Young Award finalist! He’s joined by Gerrit Cole of the New York Yankees and Sonny Gray of the Minnesota Twins. He was a 2023 All-Star and posted a 12-9 record. He held a 3.16 ERA through 185 innings this season. His 237 strikeouts led the American League. Gaus played at LSU in 2011 and 2012.

Meet The Coach. Today, we’re introducing you to pitching coach Nate Yeskie. He joined the staff in June of this year and spent 18 years working at four different schools — UNLV, Oregon State, Arizona, and Texas A&M. Hear from Tiger pitchers and Coach Yeskie on the improvements they’ve made in the last couple of months.

📖  TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS — TWO CHAMPIONSHIP BOOKS
