🔼 Man Of The Year. The awards just don’t stop coming for Dylan Crews, he was just named 2022-2023 SEC Male Athlete of the Year! This award can go next to his 2023 Golden Spikes Award, 2023 Gold Glove Award, and 2022 & 2023 SEC Player of the Year awards. Lots of awards here! Crews led the SEC in batting average, on-base percentage, runs, hits, and walks. He is now looking ahead to going first round with his teammate Paul Skenes in the 2023 MLB Draft on Sunday.

🔼 Donegan Day. What a day for Áine Donegan in the Women’s U.S. Open! The LSU Tiger finished tied for second-place after the first round yesterday, with a score of -3. The craziest part? Some of her clubs were ruined in transportation, so she had to use replacements. Continue to cheer on Áine and former Tiger Madelene Sagstrom at the Open throughout the weekend.

🔼 Vegas, Baby. Five former Tigers are playing in the Las Vegas Summer League from today through July 17. Javonte Smart will be with the 76ers, KJ Williams will be with the Thunder, Tari Eason and Darius Days will be with the Rockets, and Duop Reath will be with the Trailblazers. All 30 NBA franchises will be taking part in these games.

🔼 For The Stars & Stripes. USA Basketball and Angel Reese bounced out of pool play and into the FIBA AmeriCup quarterfinals! USA is the Group A’s 2 seed and will play Group B’s 3 seed today. The Bayou Barbie has 26 points and 26 rebounds in the three games she has played.

🔼 When Past Meets Present. Former and current LSU track and field members will be meeting in Eugene Oregon this weekend at the 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships. There will be 8 Tigers from the 2022-2023 roster and 14 Tiger Alumni. The 22 Tigers will be looking for a spot on Team USA and qualify for the 2023 World Athletics Championships next month. The top-three athletes in each event will qualify.

SEC Athlete of the Year. LSU has had numerous SEC Athlete of the Year recipients since 1991.
