Listen Up. Head coach Brian Kelly addressed the media for his weekly press conference yesterday. He recapped the win over Arkansas and previewed this weekend’s trip to Oxford as the Tigers face Ole Miss.

🔼 He’s The Man. Quarterback Jayden Daniels picked up his second SEC Player of the Week award after his stellar performance against Arkansas. He completed 20-of-29 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns in the win. The LSU offense scored on their final six possessions. Jayden became the sixth player in FBS history to pass for 10,000 yards and rush for 2,000 yards in a career. He leads the conference in total offense (372.3 yards per game), total touchdowns (14), passing yards per game (324), and passing touchdowns (12). That’s 5.

🔼 Bouncing Into Basketball. Women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey met with the media before the team’s first practice yesterday. She answered questions about the new team members and what to expect going forward. The practice was open to the public, and you would’ve thought they were playing an SEC game! Look at that crowd. 2,500 fans came out to the champions’ practice.

🔼 Love For Glover. The conference honors continued to roll in yesterday when Sage Glover was named SEC Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. She had a huge week helping the team win two SEC matches with two goals in back-to-back games. She has four goals this season and eight in her two-year career. This marks her second conference honor of her career.

Jayden Daniels became the second player in LSU history to have 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards during his LSU career.
