🔼 Howdy, Longhorns. LSU soccer is back tonight with an away match at No. 9 Texas. The Tigers are 1-1 on the season and coming off of a dominant 4-1 win over Southern Miss. Mollie Baker and Ida Hermannsdottir have the 4 goals of the season. The match is scheduled for 7:00pm on the Longhorn Network and you can stream on the ESPN app.

 🔼  Preparation Season. The media was graced by Coach Kelly’s presence on Tuesday when he discussed preparing for Florida State, Saturday’s scrimmage, and more. The scrimmage was a way to see where players are in their development and where improvements need to be made. Coach Kelly also said that the owners of No. 7 and No. 18 will be announced by the end of this week.

🔼 Battle Of The Bayou Bengals. For the first time ever, Favour Ofili and Sha’Carri Richardson will be going head-to-head in the World Championship 200m semifinals. Sha’Carri recorded the fastest preliminary time with a 22.16s 200m yesterday. Favour wasn’t too far behind, clocking a 22.66 time and earning the first time-qualifying spot. The two will race today at 1:03pm CT on Peacock/USA Network.

Meet Daimion Collins. We’re continuing the Meet the Newcomer series today by introducing you to LSU men’s basketball transfer, Daimion Collins. He’s a 6’9 junior forward from Kentucky. He scored 78 points, 55 rebounds, and 20 blocks in 27 games his freshman season. Last year, he had a season-high 7 points against Arkansas. Before Kentucky, he was a 5-star prospect out of Atlanta, Texas. He averaged 35.2 points, 14.4 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6.2 blocks per game for Atlanta High School his senior year. He was the Gatorade Player of the Year, Naismith All-American, MaxPreps All-American, McDonald’s All-American, and much more.
