Tigers Win. After a successful weekend in the pool, we’re throwing it back to when Maggie MacNeil joined Tigers Win to discuss being an Olympic gold medalist, a multi-World Record Holder, and how she got to Baton Rouge.

👕 GEAR UP FOR GAMEDAY

🔼 Sweepin’ In Paris. The former LSU beach volleyball duo of Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss started their time at the Olympics with a two-set sweep! They defeated Canada 21-17 in the first set and 21-14 in the second. With the No. 2 seed, they’ll hit the sand today at 3 p.m. on NBC.

🔼 One Down. Former LSU swimmer Maggie MacNeil swam in her first of two Olympic events over the weekend. She advanced to the 100m butterfly final after placing second in her preliminary meet. She finished fifth in the final with a 56.44 time. She’ll be back in the pool on August 3 for the 4×100m medley relay.

🔼 Fan Favorite. Gymnast Aleah Finnegan made her Olympic debut yesterday. She became the first Filipina gymnast to compete in the Olympics in six decades. She finished Sunday’s competition with an all-around score of 50.498. She had her best performance on vault, where she scored 13.733. Her floor routine caught the eyes and ears of French fans in the crowd.

🔼 Into The Future. Seven LSU baseball players were named to the D1Baseball Top 100 College Prospect List for the 2025 MLB Draft. Chase Shores landed at No. 6 on the list, Daniel Dickinson was at No. 8, Jared Jones No. 41, Anthony Eyanson No. 45, Jacob Mayers was No. 68, Luis Hernandez No. 83, and Kade Anderson was No. 90.
