🔼 Along For The Ryde. Former LSU golfer Sam Burns was named to the 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup Team and earned one of six captain honors. He’s joined by a star-studded roster that includes Rickie Fowler, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Jordan Speith, and Justin Thomas. This may be Sam’s rookie appearance, but he’s no stranger to representing the Stars & Stripes on the course — in 2014 he was a part of the 2014 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team that won.

🔼 Medal Chasing. Freshman women’s basketball player Mikaylah Williams is looking to be like her teammates, Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith, by bringing home a FIBA medal with Team USA. Mikaylah will compete in the Women’s 3×3 U18 World Cup in Hungary starting today. She’ll play Brazil at 11:20am and Germany at 2:35pm. Games can be watched at youtube.com/fiba3×3.

🔼 Human Highlight Reel. The volleyball team is cooking up something special in Coach Johnson’s second year. They picked up their first win against UCLA in program history last weekend to open the season. Jurnee Robinson is getting attention after being named SEC Freshman of the Week earlier this week, check out her highlights! The Tigers travel to Creighton for the Bluejay Invitational this weekend that will be streamed on FloSports.
