The Powerhouse. Each season takes on its own identity, and the Tigers are beginning to play their best baseball down the stretch that featured defeating the No. 1 team in the country at home and three-straight SEC series victories. Left-handed sophomore Griffin Herring, who traditionally enters in relief, boasts a 3-1 record and 2.13 ERA. 🔼 Let’s Dance. It’s NCAA Regional time for LSU softball! The No. 10 Tigers will face SWAC Champions Jackson State at 1:30 pm inside Tiger Park. The game will air on SEC Network. The winner will advance to play the winner of Southern Illinois vs. California on Saturday at 12 pm. The loser will play the loser of that game on Saturday at 2:30 pm.

🔼 Strong Start. LSU baseball started their weekend strong with a 5-1 win over Ole Miss. Gage Jump threw six successful innings, limiting the Rebels to one run and striking out eight. The Tigers had a three-run fourth inning after Steven Milam and Tommy White scored some Tigers earlier on. They’ll continue the series today at noon at Alex Box Stadium. The game will stream on SEC Network+.

🔼  Get Us Started. The women’s golf team will begin the NCAA Championships today at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Ingrid Lindblad, Latanna Stone, Carla Tejedo, Aine Donegan, and Taylor Riley will make up the LSU lineup. The Tigers will tee off at 2:22 pm CT.

🔼  Bow-Wow. Four Tigers are being recognized on The Bowerman Post-Outdoor Conference Championship Watch List. Brianna Lyston and Michaela Rose made the women’s watch list, once again. The duo has made the last six watch lists. Claudio Romero and Godson Oghenebrume are receiving votes on the men’s watch list. This is the second-straight week Claudio has received votes.
