🔼 Mike’s The Man. Offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Mike Denbrock was named one of five finalists for the Broyles Award! The award goes to college football’s top assistant coach. Coach Denbrock is joined by Mike Bobo (Georgia), Phil Parker (Iowa), Sherrone Moore (Michigan), and Will Stein (Oregon). LSU has had the most explosive and dynamic offense in the country this season and lead the way in total offense and scoring. The winner of the Broyles Award will be announced next week.

🔼 Hello, New York. The men’s basketball team heads to Syracuse on a three-game winning streak to open up the ACC/SEC Challenge series. Syracuse is coming off a 1-2 week at the Maui Invitational where they lost to Tennessee and Gonzaga. They tip off tonight at 6pm on ESPN2. Chris Blair and John Brady will have the call on the LSU Sports Radio Network.

🔼 Dominated The Caymans. ESPN announced Aneesah Morrow as their Player of the Week after her performance at the Cayman Islands Classic. Against Niagara, she recorded her 14th game of her career with 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 5+ steals — no one has had more than six of those games in the past 25 years. She averaged 32.5 points and 13 rebounds in the Caymans and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Aneesah already has 28 steals this season, good for No. 3 in the country.
