🔼 League Leaders. Head Coach Brian Kelly took the podium yesterday for his weekly press conference. Entering week three, Garrett Nussmeier leads the NCAA in passing touchdowns with eight and he’s No. 1 in the SEC with 57 completions. Kyren Lacy leads the NCAA with four receiving touchdowns and Zavion Thomas leads the SEC with 130 punt return yards. The Tigers travel to South Carolina this weekend for an 11 a.m. Saturday game.

🔼  Meet The Robinson. Volleyball’s Jurnee Robinson was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week! She led the Tigers to a 3-0 weekend at the Duke Tournament. She recorded 5.83 points and 5.42 kills per set, along with six blocks and two aces. She had two double-doubles and two 20-kill matches. The sophomore leads the nation in points and kills.

🔼 Strong Start. The No. 13 women’s golf team has started the season strong as they play at two different tournaments. The team is one shot out of the lead at the Cougar Classic. Edit Hertzman is in second-place individually, while Rocio Tejedo is tied for third. At the Green Wave Invitational, Jordan Fischer is tied for the lead at 1-under.

🔼  That Kid In The NFL. LSU players in the NFL made appearances this weekend! Jayden Daniels led the Washington Commanders for the first time in record-breaking fashion. His 56 rushing yards in the first half were the most by a rookie quarterback in franchise history. He also became the second rookie in NFL history to rush for two touchdowns in his first game.

🎥 Tiger teammate Brian Thomas Jr. scored his first NFL touchdown for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
