What else did we pour into today’s Brew?

🏆 Celebrate the champions
⛳️ Men’s golf takes on SEC Championship
🐯 And much, much more!

The Climb. For LSU Gymnastics, the path to a national championship runs through Fayetteville, where they face their fiercest competition yet. Fueled by a blend of joy and intensity, the team rallies for one last triumphant effort before advancing to the National Semifinals.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Celebrate Good Times, Come On. It’s a celebration! The LSU Gymnastics team will celebrate their first national title with a championship parade and ceremony tonight. The parade will start at 6:30 pm at LSU’s School of Music before the celebration inside the PMAC at 7 pm. You’ll get to see the National Champions, Coach Jay Clark, the coaching staff, the Bengal Brass band, spirit squads, former LSU gymnasts, and more!

🔼 Fore The Title. The men’s golf team will tee off at the SEC Championship today at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Today through Friday will be stroke play competition with the individual winner being crowned on Friday. The top eight teams will move on to match play on Saturday and Sunday. The LSU lineup will include Jay Mendell, Connor Gaunt, Drew Doyle, Lance Yates, and Alex Price.

🔼 Danger Zone. Beyond the outfield was the danger zone last night, literally — one of Tommy White’s home runs hit a fan in the head! Don’t worry, he’s A-OK. The Tigers hit five homers in the 9-0 shutout win over Nicholls thanks to Tommy’s two, Jared Jones, Steven Milam, and Josh Pearson. Kade Anderson earned the win on the mound, working four innings.

🔼 Split The Bill. LSU softball fell at No. 25 UL-Lafayette last night, 9-4. The teams split their season series at 1-1. Karli Petty led the Tigers offense with two extra-base hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Raeleen Gutierrez doubled to bring in the first run, then scored the second on a wild pitch. The Tigers will host Arkansas this weekend for their last SEC series.

🔼 Better Together. Beach volleyball’s Parker Bracken and Reilly Allred go together like two peas in a pod. They’re so good together, they’ve been named CCSA Pair of the Year! They were also named to the All-Conference team. The duo went 22-9 with eight AVCA Top 20 wins. Skylar Martin was named to the All-Freshman Team and Ellie Shank was named to the All-Academic Team.

🏈 PATH TO THE DRAFT

Malik Nabers will be remembered among the greats of LSU Football. The 2023 Biletnikoff Finalist, 2023 Citrus Bowl MVP, and consensus All-American is preparing for this week’s NFL Draft. Go Eye to Eye with Malik Nabers on LSU GOLD.
