🔼 Dive In. We’re just two days away from the first LSU game of the Men’s College World Series, so let’s take a look at our opponent: the Tennessee Volunteers.
🟠 The Vols are headed to Omaha for the second time in three years. They punched their ticket in the Hattiesburg Super Regional after three games against Southern Miss. Before the Supers, they swept the Clemson Regional with wins over Clemson and Charlotte
💣 Five batters have double digit home runs for the Vols. Griffin Merritt leads the team with 18, Christian Moore is right behind with 17, and Blake Burke and Zane Denton both have 16.
🕰 Looking back, the Tigers took 2 of 3 from Tennessee in the regular season.

🔼 Season Loading. Volleyball season will be here before you know it, so be sure to secure those season tickets! The season will kick off with the Tiger Classic against UCLA starting August 25. Last season, the Tigers made it all the way to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

🔼 Red, White, & Blue. We’ve spotted some familiar faces at the USA Softball Fast Pitch Camp. Taylor Pleasants and Sahvanna Jaquish traded the purple and gold for red, white, and blue to showcase their skills. Team USA will be forming two 2023 National Team rosters. The Tigers finished the season ranked No. 16 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Coaches’ Poll and No. 18 by DISoftball.

Looking Back. During the regular season matchup, the Tigers took the series from Tennessee.
