🔼 Louisiana’s Best. The Nuss Bus is rolling! Garrett Nussmeier threw for a career-high six touchdowns and 302 yards in Saturday’s home-opening 44-21 win over Nicholls. Kyren Lacy scored three touchdowns, while Zavion Thomas, Ju’Juan Johnson, and Tre’Dez Green scored one a piece.

📈 The win moved the Tigers to No. 16 in the AP Poll and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll.

🔼  Sunday Funday. LSU soccer also beat a Louisiana team this weekend! They defeated UL-Lafayette 3-1 last night. All three goals came in the second half thanks to two from Ida Hermannsdottir and one from Sage Glover. The Tigers will spend this week in California as they take on San Francisco and UC-Davis.

🔼  Won The Weekend. LSU volleyball won all of their matches at Duke over the weekend! They beat Duke on Thursday to start things off. They came from behind on Friday to take down Florida International in five sets. They finished strong as they swept Davidson on Saturday, logging a season-high in hitting percentage for the second-straight match.

🔼 New Year, New Wins. The men’s golf team started the Coach Jake Amos Era strong! The team swept title honors as they won the Visit Knoxville Collegiate, while Algot Kleen won the individual title. The Tiger shot 23-under, led by Kleen’s 12-under score.
