🔼 Magic In The Air. It’s been a long off-season with expectations growing and growing. We’ve wondered what the 2023 Tigers are going to look like, we’ve wondered what Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers will do, we’ve wondered how the LSU defense will dominate. Well now, the wondering is over. LSU football is loaded up and ready to hit Orlando for the season opener against Florida St. on Sunday in the Camping World Kickoff. The Tigers are hunting for revenge after last season’s one-point opening loss to the Seminoles. How will they look? LSU will be wearing the classic gold, white, gold uniform combo. Kickoff is at 6:30pm CT on ABC. The Path starts now.
🔼 Omaha, Omaha. The Tigers are headed back to Omaha! No… not to claim another College World Series title — yet. The volleyball team is geared up for Creighton’s Bluejay Invitational. The Tigers will play Northern Iowa today at 3:30pm, Creighton tomorrow at 5:00pm, and Ball State at noon on Sunday. LSU holds a 4-1 record against this field of opponents. All of the matches will be streaming on FloSports.
🔼 Shine Bright. Former Tigers took home some Diamond League wins yesterday in Zürich. Mondo Duplantis won gold once again with his 6.00m pole vault. Sha’Carri Richardson also continued her winning habits, grabbing gold in the 100m. Eric Edwards Jr. landed in 3rd in the 110mH.
🔼 Crossing I-10. The cross country team is heading over to New Orleans to start the season at the UNO Opener tonight. The women’s team will start things off with the 4k at 6:10pm and the men will follow with their 5k at 6:45. Last year, the women took first-place and the men took second at this event. Freshman All-SEC member Michaela Rose will be a Tiger to watch this weekend.
