Hearing Voices. One of the voices of LSU baseball joined the podcast to talk all things LSU! Doug Thompson is the color analyst alongside Chris Blair on the LSU Sports Radio Network. He was also the winning pitcher for the Tigers in the 1997 College World Series championship game. Check out his episode now on LSU Gold.

🔼 Chipped To The Ship. The Tigers are headed to the NCAA Championship! The women’s golf team advanced through the Palm Beach Regional to place 5th and earn a spot in Scottsdale, Arizona. Latanna Stone shot a 213 to tie for 1st overall! The team bumped up two spots yesterday when they shot 3-under par and had the best performance of the day. The Championships begin Friday, May 19.

🔼 Fought In Fayetteville. The Tigers battled for three-and-a-half hours and ten innings before falling to Ole Miss in the SEC Softball Tournament. Taylor Pleasants had a double and brought in two in the 5-3 loss. Ali Kilponen entered the game late and fought through extra innings before an Ole Miss homer that gave them the win.

🔼 Hosts With The Most. LSU is hosting this years SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships which begins today. 54 LSU athletes are set to compete in the meet. It kicks off this morning at 11:30 and continues through Saturday night, you check out all the action on the SEC Network and SEC Network+.

🔼 Let’s Go Camping. No, not with a tent, but in the LSU Men’s Basketball Practice Facility! Check out the Matt McMahon Basketball Camps happening in June. The mini camp is for 5-7 year olds and takes place June 12-15. The youth camp includes incoming 2nd-9th graders and takes place June 19-22.
