The Climb. Half a decade ago, the LSU Gymnastics team triumphed in the SEC Championship in the city of New Orleans. Now, five years later, history repeats as they clinch the title once more. Amid the glittering cascade of confetti and the celebration of the trophy, the team's gaze remains fixed on larger victories that lie ahead.

🔼 Let’s Get It Started. LSU gymnastics is finally back on the mat! No. 2 LSU will start the NCAA postseason today in the second round of the Fayetteville Regional. They’ll compete against No. 15 Minnesota, No. 18 Oregon State, and BYU in the second session at 7 pm. The winner of session two will compete against the winner of session one on Saturday. All sessions will be streamed on ESPN+.

🔼 Perfect Match. Beach volleyball players Ella Larkin and Aubrey O’Gorman were named CCSA Pair of the Week! The Court 3 pair went 1-1 at the Death Volley Invitational over the weekend. They clinched the Tigers win over No. 1 USC. The beach volleyball team will hit the road this weekend for the Georgia State Diggin’ Duals.

🔼 Women’s GolfU. While Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone are making us proud at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, Edit Hertzman is winning conference awards here at home! She was named SEC Golfer of the Week after winning the individual title at the ULM Invitational. She shot 7-under 209 to capture her first collegiate championship.

🔼 Reset Button. LSU baseball is back in action tonight as they begin a three-game series with No. 6 Vanderbilt. The Tigers are in a brutal stretch of their schedule and look to snap a four-game losing streak. They’ll host the Commodores at 6 pm at Alex Box Stadium. The game will air on ESPN2 and the LSU Sports Radio Network. Chris Blair went Inside The Dugout with Jay Johnson to preview the series.

🔼 New Heights. National Champion, NIL trailblazer, and women’s basketball superstar Angel Reese has declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft! She recorded 61 double-doubles during her time at LSU, which is second in the record books to Sylvia Fowles. She won an ESPY for Best Breakthrough Athlete, 2023 BET Sportswoman of the Year, 2023 Sporting News Athlete of the Year, and 2024 SEC Player of the Year. Earlier this week, she was named to the Wooden Award All-America team. Angel will go down in the LSU history books as one of the best to ever do it.
