The Climb. The season finale of The Climb is out now on LSU Gold! Follow the Tigers gymnastics team in Fort Worth as they compete for a National Championship. Tune in to reflect on the entire season and see what the future holds for LSU gymnastics.
🔼 On The Clock. Six Tigers were drafted over the weekend in the 2023 NFL Draft. The first Tiger off the board was BJ Ojulari when the Arizona Cardinals took him 41st overall. Five players were drafted on Saturday in the last four rounds, starting with Anthony Bradford to the Seattle Seahawks. The Vikings selected Jay Ward and Jaquelin Roy from LSU in the fourth and fifth rounds. Kayshon Boutte was drafted to the New England Patriots and Jarrick Bernard-Converse to the New York Jets.
🔼 Sweep Victory. LSU baseball continues to prove why they’re the best as they sit at 35-8. The Tigers swept Alabama over the weekend inside Alex Box Stadium and on Sunday, LSU put on a home run derby. Jared Jones got the party started when he launched one over the fence in the second inning. Dylan Crews, Jordan Thompson, and Paxton Kling followed suit and hit home runs of their own. The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday night when they hit the road to play Southeastern Louisiana.
🔼 Set The Stage. After showing up to the CCSA semifinals, the 26-12 beach volleyball team earned a 5 seed in the NCAA Championship. The tournament is single elimination and runs for three days in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Tigers will match up against No. 12 FAU at 1:00pm on Friday.
🔼 Best In Class. Four Tigers took first-place at the LSU Invitational over the weekend. The nations best 4×100 squad improved their time even more with a 38.26, which ranks second in LSU history. Godson Oghenebrume helped secure the relay win before also taking the men’s 100m. John Meyer took first-place in shot put with a season-best 20.42 despite the rainy conditions. The Tigers return to the track on May 11th when they host the SEC Championship.
