🔼 Shut ‘Em Down.

🐯 LSU 14, Kentucky 0

The Tigers completely shut down Kentucky in game one of the Super Regional. Paul Skenes threw 7.2 shutout innings and allowed just four hits and nine strikeouts.

💣 Tommy Two Tanks. Tommy White launched two of the Tigers six home runs Saturday night. He’s raked 22 home runs this season which leads the team.

🎥 Tiger faithful gave Paul the best exit at Alex Box Stadium, only the best for the best.

🔼 Omaha, Omaha!

🐯 LSU 8, Kentucky 3

We’re headed to Omaha! The Tigers sealed the deal for the last time in Alex Box Stadium last night to punch their ticket to the Men’s College World Series. Ty Floyd held down the mound for 3.1 innings and racked up 5 strikeouts. Dylan Crews said farewell to “The Box” with a 2-RBI double in the ninth to extend the lead to 8-3.

💣 Beloso Bomb. Cade Beloso’s 3-run home run in the third inning was the game changer for the Tigers, putting them ahead 4-1.

🎥 Air Jordan. Jordan Thompson channeled his inner Michael Jordan and caught some air for a big out in the second inning.

⚾️ Ball Magnet. The baseball loves Gavin Dugas, so much that it hit him three times last night! He also got to record one hit and two runs.

🔼  She Is The Champion. History was in the making all season long for Michaela Rose, and she topped it off with a National Championship. The sophomore became the only woman in NCAA history to clock three sub-2 minutes times in a collegiate-outdoor career, and she did it in just one season. The team finished in seventh-place overall.

🎥 Michaela Rose left the NCAA Outdoor Championships on top when she won gold in the 800m.

🔼 Room For Two More. The men’s team finished in fourth overall and had two championships of their own. The dominant 4×100m relay team of Brandon Hicklin, Dorian Camel, Da’Marcus Fleming, and Godson Oghenebrume took gold to secure their NCAA Championship. Tzuriel Pedigo also brought home a championship when he took gold in the men’s javelin throw.

College World Series. LSU has the most College World Series appearances in the nation since 1986.
