🔼 We’re Hosting. LSU softball earned the No. 9 seed to host the Baton Rouge Regional this weekend! The Tigers will welcome the Missouri Valley Conference Champions of Southern Illinois, Cal, and the SWAC Champions Jackson State. LSU will play Jackson State on Friday at 5 pm. Tickets for the weekend will go on sale this morning at 10 am.

🔼  A Pro’s Pro. Former Tiger women’s golfer Madelene Sagstrom has officially surpassed the $4 million mark in career earnings. She finished second-place at the Cognizant Founders Cup on the LPGA Tour over the weekend. She is now 109th on the LPGA’s all-time money list. The former Tiger is No. 11 in the Race to the SME Globe Standings and has 20 career top 10s, three of them coming from this year.

🔼 The Gauntlet. The men’s golf team finished round one of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional tied for ninth-place. Connor Gaunt led the team and is tied for second-place individually after shooting 4-under 68. The Tigers will look to improve to secure a top five spot in the regional.

🔼  Meet The Opponents. The SEC announced each school’s conference opponents for the upcoming men’s basketball season. Conference play will begin on January 4 and runs through March 8. LSU’s permanent opponents are Arkansas and Texas A&M, so they will play each other at home and on the road. They’ll also play Ole Miss home and away this season. Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Vanderbilt are the other teams that the Tigers will play in the PMAC.
