🎥 LSUGOLD

The Powerhouse. The true freshman out of New Mexico had crowds dubbing him "Cajun Altuve" after a Monster first season with LSU Baseball. Steven Milam batted a .326 with 12 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 40 RBI's, 51 runs, and seven stolen bases in his first year in Baton Rouge.

🔼 Passing The Torch. The numbers 7 and 18 are iconic in the LSU football program. Before the start of the season, Brian Kelly presented Will Campbell and Harold Perkins Jr. with the No. 7 jersey. Campbell will continue to wear the No. 7 patch on his No. 66 jersey. Josh Williams and Greg Penn will wear No. 18. Read more about how the players earned their numbers, plus quotes from Coach Kelly.

🔼  Strong Start. LSU soccer started their home opener against Arizona State on the right foot with Ida Hermansdottir scoring three minutes into the match. Arizona State scored the equalizer just one minute later. Later in the first half, Sydney Cheesman assisted Jazmin Ferguson on the go-ahead goal. That was all for the Tigers, as the Sun Devils came out of the break scoring three more goals. LSU fell 5-2.

🔼  Summer Success. Baseball coach Jay Johnson gave out Tigers’ Summer 2024 team awards to four players who have distinguished themselves on the field, in the weight room, and the classroom. Ashton Larson won LSU’s Summer Player of the Year, Chandler Dorsey was named Summer Pitcher of the Year, Tanner Reaves earned Summer Weight Room Winner, and Dalton Beck was named Summer Academic Champion.

🔼 Nobody Compares. LSU baseball leads the nation with nine players on Baseball America’s Top 100 College Transfers for 2025 list! Daniel Dickinson (No. 2), Anthony Eyanson (No. 4), Deven Sheerin (No. 8), Jacob Mayers (No. 17), Chandler Dorsey (no. 22), Zac Cowan (No. 23), Luis Hernandez (No. 32), Dalton Beck (No. 34), and Chris Stanfield (no. 79) make up the list.
