🔼 Movin’ On Up. The gymnastics squad jumped in the national polls after recording the second-highest score in the country this weekend. The Tigers moved from No. 8 to No. 3, thanks to a win over No. 6 Kentucky. LSU is the No. 1 floor group in the country after Kiya Johnson recorded her fifth perfect score on the event. Kiya, Haleigh Bryant, Aleah Finnegan, Konnor McClain, and Amari Drayton ranked in the top-25 individually. They’ll hit the road to Missouri on Friday at 7:30 pm.

🔼 First Pitch. The Tiger Athletic Foundation and the LSU Baseball Coaches Committee held the annual First Pitch Banquet on Sunday night. Coach Jay Johnson and the team greeted more than 1,000 supporters and raised over $280,000 for the baseball program. Special guests included Mikie Mahtook, Jared Mitchell, and Kevin Gausman. We’re now less than 25 days away from first pitch in Alex Box Stadium!

🔼  First Of The Year. The first USTFCCCA rankings of the season placed LSU women’s indoor track and field at No. 14! Alia Armstrong is No. 1 in the nation in the 60m hurdles and on the Bowerman Watchlist. Michaela Rose, also on the watchlist, set the collegiate record in the 600-yard over the weekend. The old record stood for 41 years.
