Boot Up. Jalen Reed and Tyrell Ward continue to show steady improvements on the floor in their second season in Baton Rouge. Off the floor, the LSU Basketball sophomores share a unique bond transcending the game.

🔼 NITty Gritty. The men’s basketball team’s journey in the NIT starts tonight in the PMAC! They’ll take on North Texas, a team they beat in the Charleston Classic in November. The first 1,500 students will get in free! Tickets are general admission at $20 for adults and $10 for children. The game will be live on the SEC Network and the LSU Sports Radio Network.

The Tigers are winners of three of their last five. They had wins over three AP Top-25 teams in conference play and tied for second in improvement among teams in Power 6 conferences. This will be Coach McMahon’s fourth postseason appearance as a head coach.

🔼 Bigger Than Baseball. The Tigers are hosting Louisiana Tech tonight at Alex Box Stadium in their Prostate Cancer Awareness game. The first 2,500 fans will receive leather LSU keychains! First pitch is set for 6:30 pm and the game will stream on SEC Network+. The Tigers lead the series with the Bulldogs, 45-20. Javen Coleman will take the mound for the Tigers and Caden Copeland will control the Bulldogs mound. LSU came in at No. 4 in this week’s USA Today Coaches poll and No. 5 in Baseball America’s and D1Baseball’s.

🔼 Movin’ On Up. Shortstop Taylor Pleasants hit her fifth home run of the season last night, which moved her to 42 career homers. That ties Georgia Clark at No. 4 all-time in the LSU softball record book. Taylor hit the ball so hard, it took out the video board! The Tigers dropped their first series of the season to Ole Miss, losing 9-2.

🔼  Tigers On Top. LSU gymnastics earned the top seed in the SEC Championships this weekend! The meet is right in our backyard at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. They’ll compete in the second session with Florida, Kentucky, and Alabama at 7 pm on Saturday. There will be a Tiger Tailgate from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm for those who purchased tickets.

March Madness. Be a part of the first and second round madness in the PMAC! The women’s basketball team will take on 14-seed Rice on Friday at 3 pm. No. 11 Middle Tennessee and No. 6 Louisville will also be playing in the PMAC. All-Session books will include a ticket to all three games, get yours now!
