🔼 Onto The Next. Grambling State is next on the slate for the LSU football team. Coach Kelly took the stage yesterday to address the media going into the second week of the season. You’ll also hear Chris Blair set the stage for Grambling State and look back at the previous game. The Tigers came in at No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll and AP Poll yesterday. The team is ready to be in front of the home crowd on Saturday night against a storied program.
🔼 The Price Was Right. The LSU men’s golf team completely dominated the Golfweek Collegiate Kickoff, taking first-place in a field of 12 teams with a final score of -20. Grad transfer Alex Price finished at the top of the player leaderboard his -11 score. Fellow Tigers Connor Gaunt and Cohen Trolio tied for fifth after shooting 4-under. Jay Mendell had a big third round where he jumped 16 places to finish tied for tenth. SEC-foe Missouri was the only other SEC competition in the tournament and they trailed LSU by 7 strokes.
🔼 Brunch With The Tigers. The volleyball team has a morning game today at 11:00am, so tell your boss you need to take an early lunch. This is the annual field trip game, so local elementary schools are invited to join for a fun lunch break! The Tigers will meet UL-Lafayette in the PMAC as they look to beat the Ragin’ Cajuns for the 15th time in-a-row. LSU sits at No. 3 in the SEC with 2.10 aces per set and are coming off a season-high 15 aces in the win over Ball State. If you’re unable to make the game, you can tune in on SEC Network+.
🎥 MEET THE NEWCOMERS
Meet Aneesah Morrow. Junior guard Aneesah Morrow came to the LSU women’s basketball team from DePaul as one of the top transfers in the country. She averaged 25.7 points and 12.2 rebounds as a sophomore and was the only player other than Angel Reese to rank inside the top 10 in both scoring and rebounding. Imagine what the two can do on the same court… She’s an All-American and earned multiple Freshman of the Year awards, including ESPN Top Freshman in the Country and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year.

🎉 TRIVIA ANSWER
Answer: 35
The last time the Tigers lost to a Louisiana opponent was in 1982 to Tulane. The Tigers look to extend that number to 36 on Saturday when they host Grambling State.
🐯 Have a great Wednesday, y'all!
