Tigers Win. The biggest regular season beach volleyball tournament of the year is in Baton Rouge this weekend! AVP announcer Mark Shuermann is set to be the voice of the Death Volley Invitational on March 29–30. Shuermann joins head coach Russell Brock and Cody Worsham on this edition of Tigers Win, previewing the event that will highlight top teams from across the nation.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Queens (And King) Of The SEC. The Tigers took home some serious SEC honors after being crowned 2024 SEC Champions! Haleigh Bryant was named SEC Gymnast of the Year after holding the highest all-around score in the nation and in school history. Head coach Jay Clark earned Co-Coach of the Year after reaching multiple milestones this season. The Tigers went undefeated at home, had nine ranked victories over top-20 opponents, and two program high scores. Five Tigers were named All-SEC — Haleigh Bryant, Ashley Cowan, Konnor McClain, Kiya Johnson, and KJ Johnson. Konnor was also named All-Freshman.

🔼 Tough Test. LSU baseball is facing a road test at top-ranked Arkansas, with the three-game series starting today! The Tigers are shaking up the starting rotation with today’s pitcher undecided, Luke Holman pitching tomorrow, and Gage Jump getting the Saturday start. LSU leads the all-time series with Arkansas at 77-41, winning 14 of the last 18 series. The series will start tonight at 6 pm on ESPN2.

🔼 Home Sweet Home. The softball team is back at home this weekend, hosting No. 11 Texas A&M. They’re coming off a four-game road trip at Missouri and Nicholls, where they went 2-2. The Tigers have taken down the Aggies in four of their last five games. They’ll start the series tonight at 6 pm. All three games will stream on SEC Network+.

🔼 Double Down. Men’s golfer Jay Mendell won his fifth SEC Freshman of the Week honor this season! The rookie tied for first-place individually at The Hootie at Bulls Bay this week. He finished at 6-under alongside two other competitors. Ingrid Lindblad was named SEC Women’s Golfer of the Week after winning the Clemson Invitational. She shot 18-under to win her 14th championship, breaking the SEC collegiate win record.

🔼 Future Members Of NFLSU. Yesterday was LSU’s Pro Day, and we have some highlights for you!

🎥 Malik Nabers flashes 4.35s and 4.40s 40-yard dashes, as well as a 42” vertical jump.

🏈 PATH TO THE DRAFT

Jordan Jefferson was a bulldozer in the trenches during his lone season at LSU. He recorded 36 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. He reached 34 reps on the bench at the NFL Combine last month, the most out of all defensive tackles. He also got to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Read more about Jordan’s Path to the Draft!
