It Never Gets Old. Introducing It Never Gets Old: A Tiger Stadium 100 Podcast. This show will feature interviews surrounding Death Valley’s most memorable games and highlight the vibrant history of one of the most iconic venues in sports. Joining us as our first guest is former LSU football star and recent LSU graduate Eddie Kennison, who details what the stadium means to him by reliving some of his greatest moments and memories.

🔼 Road Warriors. LSU soccer picked up another road win on Sunday, defeating Old Dominion 2-1. Kelsey Major opened the second half with a goal in the first five minutes. Ava Galligan scored the game-winner in her home state of Virginia. The Tigers are now 3-0 on the road! They return home for a match against Utah on Thursday at 7 p.m.

🔼  Block Party. LSU volleyball finished opening weekend with a 2-1 record. They started strong, beating New Hampshire 3-2 on Friday after coming back from a 0-2 deficit. The Tigers ended the day with a 3-1 win over Maryland. Jurnee Robinson set a new career-high with 28 kills in that match. Saturday spoiled the fun as the Tigers fell to Troy in an epic five-set battle. LSU averaged 2.50 blocks per set and recorded an SEC-best 35 blocks on the weekend.

🔼 Double Down. Both cross country teams earned team wins at the McNeese Season Opener! On the women’s side, second through 11th-place finished led the Tigers to a win with 20 points. The men’s team won the 5k with 26 points with Tigers going 2-4-5-7-8. They’ll race again when LSU hosts the LSU Invitational on September 13.
