🔼 Pay The Man. The MLB’s No. 1 draft pick, Paul Skenes, is continuing to break records beyond LSU. The newest Pittsburgh Pirate just signed a record rookie contract, receiving a bonus of $9.2 million. The previous highest was $8.42 million in 2020. Paul was introduced to Pittsburgh in his opening press conference and thanked his former Tiger teammates.

🔼 Fab Five. There’s no such thing as too much recognition! Five baseball Tigers were named to the 2023 ABCA All-South Region Team — Dylan Crews, Paul Skenes, Tommy White, Gavin Dugas, and Ty Floyd. Four of the five were selected in this year’s MLB Draft last week.
