Lagniappe. The 2023 LSU Baseball team received its National Championship rings on Saturday, November 11 in a special ceremony held in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center prior to the LSU-Florida football game.

🔼 Run It Back. To no one’s surprise, Jayden Daniels was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week again! He tied the LSU record for touchdowns responsible for with eight in Saturday’s win. He had more touchdown passes than incompletions. This is his second-straight SEC Player of the Week award and his fifth of the season.

🔼 Made The Cut. Fifteen semifinalists were announced for the Broyles Award and offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Mike Denbrock made the list! He’s put together the most explosive and dynamic offense in college football this season. The Tigers lead the country in total offense, scoring, and plays of 20+ yards. They’ve put up over 500 yards of offense in nine games.

🔼 Tigers In Texas. The swimming and diving team competed at the Art Adams Invitational at Texas A&M over the weekend. The men’s team finished in second-place behind the Aggies and the women’s team finished in third. Both LSU teams won the 400-yard freestyle relay. Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant won the diving event and Helle Tuxen came in third. Carson Paul won the event on the men’s side. Hear from Coach Bishop after the meet!

🔼 Triple Digits. The women’s basketball team had another 100-point night in the 106-47 win over Texas Southern. Flau’Jae Johnson had another 17-point game along with eight rebounds and five steals. Annessah Morrow also had 17 points and seven steals. Hailey Van Lith had 16 points for the first time in her LSU career. The Tigers remain at No. 7 in this week’s AP Poll.
