Good morning. Freshman Kaleb Jackson had the country talking about his best impression of a bulldozer at Mississippi State. He received comparisons to Leonard Fournette, and even got the nod from the former Tiger running back. Check it out!

🔼 Sharing Is Caring. Choosing one or the other was just too hard of a decision, so the SEC decided that Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers would share this week’s SEC Offensive Player of the Week honor! That’s what good teammates do, right? This is Jayden’s second Player of the Week honor this season. He connected on 30-of-34 pass attempts and threw for 367 yards with two touchdowns. He also ran for two touchdowns and an additional 64 yards.

Malik was Jayden’s top target against Mississippi State, catching 13 passes for 239 yards and both touchdowns. He leads the SEC in receptions per game, receiving yards, and is tied for second in touchdown receptions.

🔼 Standin’ In The Hall Of Fame. Former LSU tennis player Megan Falcon will be inducted into the LSU Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday as the first LSU women’s tennis player to earn that honor. She was a three-time All-American and the 2007 SEC Player of the Year. She managed to put together a 38-3 singles record that included wins over 26 ranked opponents. Today, Megan is the associate head coach of women’s tennis at Auburn University, she didn’t even have to change mascots! In 2022, she was named the ITA Southwest Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

The induction ceremony will take place at Manship Theater downtown at 6:30pm on Friday.

🔼 Double Down. The SMU Invitational All-Tournament Team included LSU volleyball duo Jurnee Robinson and Anita Anwusi! Jurnee led the Tigers with 4.11 kills per set and 37 total with 4 blocks over the weekend. She has the second-highest kills per set average as a freshman. Anita led the team with 6 total blocks and added 16 kills. Against Texas Tech, she dominated — hitting .462 from the floor with 7 kills. She sits at third in the SEC with a .423 hitting percentage.

🔼 From Players To Coaches. The men’s basketball team and Coach McMahon spent Saturday morning teaching neighborhood kids basketball skills on the rededicated basketball courts at Longfellow Park. The LSU Tiger Life program and the team put together clinic drills to coach up the local kids on shooting, handling, and defending. It looked like everyone had a great time, check out the recap!
