The Climb. Following a challenging road encounter against the Missouri Tigers, the LSU Gymnastics team regroups and returns home, determined to rediscover their essence. In a pivotal meeting, the team reflects, reconnects, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Their resilience shines as they face off against Arkansas, culminating in a historic performance, and more importantly, a defining display of the identity of the team.

The Powerhouse. LSU Baseball prepares to attack the 2024 season and cement a new legacy. Powered by Hayden Travinski & Gavin Guidry, the Tigers enter a new year with unwavering confidence in their process.

Season 2 of The Powerhouse premieres tonight at 8:30 pm on LSU GOLD.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Started With A Shutout. The Tiger softball team started the season with an 8-0 shutout over Nicholls last night. Sydney Berzon was dominant and only gave up two hits against 18 batters. Raeleen Gutierrez went 2-for-2 at the plate and hit the first home run of the season! Taylor Pleasants was big at the plate, hitting a three-run RBI triple that sent her home due to an error. The Tigers will host the LSU Invitational today at 4 pm against Memphis, then play Pittsburgh directly after.

🔼 Nash Bash. The 13th-ranked women’s basketball team put on a show at Vanderbilt. The Tigers won 85-62 in Nashville, with all five starters scoring in the double digits. Angel Reese recorded her 14th double-double of the season with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Aneesah Morrow earned her 15th, with 13 points and 10 boards. Flau’Jae Johnson led the Tigers with 17 points for her 14th-straight double-digit game. The Tigers will host their annual Play4Kay game on Sunday at 3 pm when they play Alabama.

🔼 Roaring Expectations. The LSU baseball team is projected to finish second in the SEC West according to the SEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll. They received three first place votes to win the SEC title. Additionally, Tommy White was named First-Team All-SEC and Hayden Travinski was received Second-Team honors.

🔼  The Show Goes On. Former LSU women’s basketball player Alexis Morris has signed to the world famous Harlem Globetrotters! She’s the seventh current woman to join the squad. Alexis will be going by ‘The Show’ on the court. She’ll join the domestic arm of the 2024 tour and take the court tonight in the birthplace of basketball — Springfield, Massachusetts. At LSU, she averaged 15.2 points per game and helped the Tigers win the National Championship. She was taken in the second round of the 2023 WNBA Draft.
