🔼 O Captains, My Captains. The captains of the 2023 football season were voted on by the team and the honors go to Jayden Daniels, Will Campbell, Greg Brooks, and Mekhi Wingo. All four guys were starters last season when the Tigers won the SEC West. Jayden Daniels will be holding it down behind Will Campbell while Greg Brooks and Mekhi Wingo will be running the defense. We’re now just 3 days from kickoff in Orlando!

🔼 Fishing For Four. LSU soccer will be back in action tonight! The Tigers are playing at Wisconsin at 7:00pm CT on B1G+. This will be the first time the two teams have met on the pitch. The Tigers have won three in-a-row, including a big win over No. 9 Texas. The Badgers are 1-1-2, coming off a draw against No. 3 North Carolina and a loss to No. 4 Duke.

🔼 The Show Goes On. LSU football’s weekly radio show, The Brian Kelly Show, will debut tonight at TJ Ribs on South Acadian Thruway. Hosted by the Voice of the Tigers, Chris Blair, the show runs from 7-8pm. You can listen in the Baton Rouge area on Eagle 98.1 FM or LSUsports.net/live. Fans can also tweet questions for Coach Kelly by tagging @LSURadio.

🎥 MEET THE NEWCOMER

Meet Will Baker. Today, we’re introducing you to men’s basketball newcomer: Will Baker. The 7’0 forward spent time at Texas and Nevada before finding himself in The Boot. He was named 2023 All-Mountain West Third Team after averaging 13.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season. He had a career-high 28 points against New Mexico last year. Will is originally from Austin, Texas where he won Central Texas Player of the Year his last two seasons of high school.
