📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Slam The Door. LSU baseball is lighting up the SEC Tournament! They beat No. 3 seed Kentucky yesterday in 11-0 shutout fashion. The game started with Luke Holman dominating the mound. He threw six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, totaling 100 pitches. Jared Jones and Tommy White blasted a grand slam each to run-rule the Wildcats. The Tigers will play South Carolina today at 4:30 pm on SEC Network.

🔼  We Run This. LSU was heavily represented on the LSWA All-Louisiana Women’s Basketball Team! Angel Reese was named the LSWA Player of the Year, Aneesah Morrow was named LSWA Newcomer of the Year, and Mikaylah Williams took home LSWA Freshman of the Year. Flau’Jae Johnson joined them on the First Team.

🔼 Tickets Punched. The men’s track & field team had six athletes punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships yesterday. Tzuriel Pedigo reached a season-best distance in his final javelin throw to punch his ticket. Will Lawrence came from behind to reach a qualifying seventh-place finish in the javelin. John Meyer also qualified as he finished in eighth in the shot put. The women’s team will compete today.

🔼  Back In The Boot. Men’s basketball head coach Matt McMahon has announced the hiring of David Patrick as associate head coach! Coach Patrick served as the head coach of Sacramento State for the last two seasons. He comes to LSU with nearly 20 years of coaching experience. He helped bring LSU a top five recruiting class in 2013 and 2015 that included players Ben Simmons, Antonio Blakeney, and Brandon Sampson.
