Good morning. The Tigers had a busy first day at SEC Media Days, but they made sure to bring the heat. Check out the outfits for the big stage!

🔼 Natural Progression. Praise was given to quarterback Jayden Daniels throughout the day yesterday in Nashville. Coach Brian Kelly gave credit where it was due to Jayden for his growth and development throughout last season. During the offseason, the quarterback has added about 15 pounds — going from 195 to nearly 210.

🔼 By The Numbers. Let’s break down some of the numbers from day one of SEC Media Days.

📈 LSU is returning 64% of defensive production with big additions in Denver Harris, Duce Chestnut, and JK Johnson.

📈 The Tigers return 82% of offensive production. Last season, LSU was 4th in the SEC with 34.5 points per game. The Tigers also have the 4th-most total experience returning with 73%.

🔼 World Class Tigers. Former softball Tigers Aliyah Andrews and Sahvanna Jaquish helped lead Team USA to the 2024 World Cup Finals! They had a perfect weekend in Ireland at the World Cup Group A event, outscoring opponents 28-0. The team led the tournament in five offensive categories and three pitching statistics while dominating the field. Aliyah hit two triples and scored three runs while Sahvanna had three hits and five walks while scoring four runs. The World Cup Finals will be in Italy July 15-21, 2024.

🔼 Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop. We may sound like a broken record week-to-week, but the All-American honors and awards just continue to roll in! D1 Baseball and the ABCA just named Dylan Crews and Paul Skenes First-Team All-Americans and Tommy White a Second-Team All-American. Paul Skenes was also named ABCA National Pitcher of the Year.

99 Club. There’s a former Tiger joining the Madden 24 99 Club, as he was rated the best player in his position and 99 overall.
