Relive The Season. The 2022-2023 LSU Women’s Basketball Season Recap is up now on LSU Gold! Relive everything from before the season began through the National Championship and beyond.

🔼 Breakfast Was Served. The Tigers dominated South Carolina yesterday morning in the SEC Tournament. Brayden Jobert wasted no time, launching a two-run homer in the second inning. Thatcher Hurd had a good start on the mound, retiring the first 12 South Carolina batters he faced. The Tigers will face Arkansas today at 4:30pm. The Tigers took two from Arkansas earlier in the season.

🔼 Academic Weapon. LSU gymnast Elena Arenas was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. In order to receive the honor, athletes must have a 3.50 GPA and compete in 50% of the team’s competitions. Elena competed in every meet and two all-around events. She holds a 3.52 GPA and is a sport administration major. She can now be considered for the Academic All-American Team.

🔼 White House Party. The women’s basketball team is headed to Washington D.C. to celebrate the National Championship. The Louisiana Congressional Delegation will feed the team lunch and provide a tour of the U.S. Capitol Building. The White House ceremony will be tomorrow at 1:00pm CT.

🔼 Dynamic Duo. The tennis tag team of Anastasiya Komar and Kylie Collins advanced out of the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championship. The doubles duo defeated Nebraska’s Samantha Alicea and Raphaelle Lacasse in three sets on Tuesday. They fell in the round of 16 to a SEC foes from Florida. They were the first LSU dup to advance in the Doubles Championship since 2018 and finished the season 11-1.
