The Powerhouse. We asked the parents of the LSU Baseball team's seniors to send them a special message for senior day. On May 18, we honored our seven senior baseball players: Ben Nippolt, Mac Bingham, Nate Ackenhausen, Christian Little, Will Hellmers, Hayden Travinski, and Alex Milazzo. Their parents all filmed video messages to their son, detailing memories of their first time playing baseball, or when they knew they were going be a Tiger. Get your tissues ready.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Protected Our Park. LSU softball protected Tiger Park and won the Baton Rouge Regional! The Tigers shutout Jackson State on Friday night, 5-0. On Saturday, they took down Southern Illinois, 4-1, to advance to the Regional Final. The Tigers took the crown on Sunday as they shutout Southern Illinois, 9-0. LSU heads to their 10th Super Regional, where they’ll face Stanford.

🔼 Sweepin’ Weekend. LSU baseball had a successful weekend sweeping Ole Miss! They won game two, 4-2, on Friday behind 6.2 innings of Luke Holman. He held the Rebels to just two runs. They turned around to grab a 9-3 win on Saturday to close out the regular season. Tommy White grand slammed in the finale to slam the door on the Rebel. The Tigers turn to the SEC Tournament, where they’ll play Georgia tomorrow at 9:30 am.

🔼  Keep It Moving. The women’s golf team sits in third-place after three rounds at the NCAA Championships. Carla Tejedo and Aine Donegan are tied for fourth and Latanna Stone is tied for 17th. The Tigers go into the final round of stroke play this afternoon. They need to be one of the top eight teams to advance to match play on Tuesday.

🔼  Pick Us, Choose Us. Two Tigers were named semifinalists for the 2024 Dick Howser Trophy — Luke Holman and Tommy White. The trophy is presented to the best player in NCAA DI baseball. The award will be presented at the College World Series on June 13.
