The freshman recorded her sixth 20-point game of the season against Arkansas. She shot above 60% from the field and beyond the arc. Mikaylah was also named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Midseason Top-10 Watchlist as one of the nations top shooting guards. Angel had two 15-rebounds double-doubles last week. She has 12 double-doubles this season and four games with at least 15 rebounds.

🔼 Best In The Country. The SEC awards didn’t end with women’s basketball players! Haleigh Bryant was named the SEC Gymnast of the Week. She shares the No. 1 spot as the top gymnast in the country with an average score of 39.708 in the all-around. She has averages of 9.900+ on every event this season. Haleigh scored a season-high 39.825 against Kentucky last weekend to win the all-around title, vault, and bars. This is her second SEC Gymnast of the Week award this season.

She broke a 41-year-old 600-yard record at the Corky Classic last weekend. She also took gold in the 4×400m relay and ran the fastest time of anyone on all 19 teams that competed.

🔼  Tigers Go Down To Georgia. The men’s basketball team is on a road trip to Georgia as they take on the Bulldogs tonight. Both teams are looking to bounce back from losses to Texas A&M and Kentucky. Tip-off is at 5:30 pm on the SEC Network! LSU’s Jordan Wright was named the college Player of the Week by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. He’s one of five players in the SEC averaging 2 or more steals per game.
