Geaux Big with B. Get to know fifth-year senior Jade Demps of LSU volleyball, the first official guest on Geaux Big with B, hosted by Bailey Ortega. Prior to joining the Tigers in 2023, Demps played three seasons at Wisconsin where she helped the Badgers reach three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Final Four births and a National Championship title in 2021.

🔼 Double Trouble. LSU softball took down ULM, 7-4, in a good ol’ in-state showdown last night. Ali Newland and McKenzie Redoutey each had two hits and a home run. Raelin Chaffin picked up the win in the circle with five strikeouts. The Tigers leaped back into the top 10 in all of the major polls this week. They’ll be back in action this weekend at No. 10 Florida.

🔼 SprintsU. LSU women and men are the No. 1 100m team’s in the country, according to the USTFCCCA. The women’s average is 11.10s, with Brianna Lyston at the top running 10.87. Thelma Davies is behind her, followed by Tima Godbless and Aniyah Bigam. The men’s team is led by Da’Marcus Fleming at 10.12. Godson Oghenebrume, Myles Thomas, and Jaiden Reid follow in the 2-3-4 spots.

🔼 Trending Up. LSU wins and ULM seem to be a trend in today’s Brew. Women’s golfer Edit Hertzman took first-place in individual competition at the ULM Invitational! She shot five birdies and an eagle in the final round yesterday. This win marks her first collegiate championship at LSU.

🔼 Mastering Their Craft. Two Tigers are competing on one of the biggest stages this week — the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Ingrid Lindblad and Latanna Stone will tee off this morning at 8:44 am. This will be Ingrid’s fourth appearance at the Am and Latanna’s third. You can watch rounds one and two on the Golf Channel from 12:30-2:30 pm today and tomorrow. Saturday’s final round will be live on NBC from noon-2 pm.
