The film will feature exclusive interviews with players and staff, plus never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes footage that brings LSU’s first basketball national championship to life. Play By Play. In the summer of 2023, Micki Collins was promoted to LSU's Director of Sports Medicine, overseeing healthcare for 450 student-athletes as well as managing the athletic department's sports medicine team. Collins joined Chris Blair and Kent Lowe on the latest episode of Play by Play, presented by The Advocate, to talk more about her critical role.

🔼 The Time Is Now. Today is your last chance to enter to win Brian Kelly’s custom Air Force Ones from the Tiger Walk before the Auburn game. The shoes are inspired by Louisiana’s culture and LSU’s rich tradition. Proceeds are used to support LSU student-athletes thanks to Bayou Traditions, the Official Collection of LSU Athletics.
🔼 Midseason Mania. The Associated Press released their midseason All-America teams yesterday, and Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers made the list! Malik was named to the first-team and Jayden to the second-team. The two have connected for 52 receptions and 7 touchdowns.
🔼 Man Of The Year. LSU running back Josh Williams received a high honor yesterday. He was named a semifinalist for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award! The award focuses on a player’s leadership on and off the field. Josh was a walk-on before earning a scholarship and has played a key role in LSU’s success over the last few years.
🔼 Watch For Morrow. LSU women’s basketball player Aneesah Morrow was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Preseason Watchlist! The award recognizes the best small forward in the country. She’s recorded 53 double-doubles in 66 career games. She was joined by Angel Reese as the only two players to rank inside the top-10 nationally in both scoring and rebounding.
🔼 Two For Me, Two For You. Two Tigers received their second SEC weekly awards this week! Men’s golfer Jay Mendell earned his second SEC Freshman of the Week award this season after earning the highest finish of his young career, tied for third at 7-under. Women’s diver Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant was named SEC Female Diver of the Week for the second week in-a-row. She finished first in both springboard events against Arkansas last week.
