🐯 And much, much more!

Power Restored. LSU's championship journey, two years in the making under head coach Jay Johnson, brings them to Omaha and the Greatest Show on Dirt: the College World Series. 🔼 Top Tigers. Two Tigers took home the Allstate Sugar Bowl’s James C. Corbett Awards as Louisiana’s top amateur athletes. Dylan Crews and Angel Reese earned the honors after leading their teams to national titles. Both Tigers have pretty full trophy rooms, Angel won the BET Award for Sportswoman of the Year and an ESPY for Best Breakthrough Athlete. Dylan owns the 2023 Golden Spikes Award and SEC Male Athlete of the Year.

🔼 Fab Five. Five Tigers had a great week of golf in Europe and California. Ingrid Lindblad finished in third-place at the European Ladies Amateur while Carla Tejedo tied in eighth. Aine Donegan and Edit Hertzman also did some work in the same tournament, tying for 42nd and 52nd. Taylor Riley had a semifinal finish at the California State Amateur Championship.

Taylor, Aine, and Latanna Stone will rep the Purple & Gold at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, August 7.

🔼 Movin’ On Up. LSU gymnastics has called up Courtney McCool Griffeth as a full-time assistant coach. She has been on the Tiger staff as a volunteer assistant coach since 2022, mainly coaching floor exercises. She has a deep resumé — an NCAA Champion, 2004 Olympian, and WGCA Region 2 Assistant Coach of the Year at Utah.

🔼 Greet The Greatest. Tomorrow you will have the opportunity to meet one of LSU’s greatest, Neal Skupski! The three-time Wimbledon champion will be hosting a meet & greet at the LSU Tennis Complex from 3:00pm - 4:00pm. You can also get some work in as the courts will be open to play. Paul Mainieri was LSU’s head baseball coach for 15 years.
